注目を集めたシミュレーター教育

"Challenges for The New Surgical Frontier" のメインテーマを掲げて開催された日本外科学会学術発表会（会長 大阪臓器制御外科 松田暉教授）。医療事故が社会的なテーマとなっていることを受け、シミュレータートレーニングに関する研究発表や催しも数多く実施されました。
特に、シミュレータートレーニングの分野で世界の医学界をリードしているスウェーデン、カロリンスカ医科大学 Dr.Tsaiのランチオンセミナー（座長 大阪中央病院 大橋院長先生）は超満員の盛況で、講演発表後の質疑応答も活発でした。

One afternoon, I was in the backyard hanging the laundry when an old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home. But when I walked into the house, he followed me, sauntered down the hall and fell asleep in a corner. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back. He resumed his position in the hallway and slept for an hour.
This continued for several weeks. Curious, I pinned a note to his collar: "Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap. "
The next day he arrived with a different note pinned to his collar: "He lives in a home with ten children - he's trying to catch up on his sleep."
